The Times of Tokyo

Photo journal of our time in Tokyo

Nathan and I chillin' in front of some bonsai trees at the Emperors palace.

Our view of the palace. Unfortunately we weren't allowed any closer.

Justin was our paparazzi and got some fun shots of us walking the crazy streets of Tokyo.

Nathan takin' a swing.

Justin at bat.

Struggling to look cute.
Buddies.

Touching the Japanese ocean waters.

Lookout for the train.

Kamakura had some pretty neat temples.

Kamakura sightings.

Big Budhha.

Getting ready for some Japanese pancakes.

Nathan doin' all the work.

Our last dinner out with Osako and Justin. Bittersweet.

Such wonderful hosts and friends!!

Sideways picture, but still pretty.
Streets of Asakusa (the 'old town' of Toyko)

Crazy free for all intersection in Shibuya.

Tokyo Tower.

Christmas dinner. Pretending we weren't completely wiped out from food poisoning from the day before!

Akihabara was a sight to see. The 'electric town' of Tokyo.

Hamarikyu Gardens were beautiful!! Did a fun little audio tour.

The biggest salmon head I ever did see.

Seems to be the high school girl craze... Kind of like guitar hero, but with massive drums. Drum Hero?

KIND OF awake at midnight on New Years. We went to the famous Meiji Shrine for the gonging of the bell/drum/we couldn't hear or see a thing. After a long day of waiting for this moment... we almost didn't make it. OH... and I have dark hair and bangs now.
