"Christmas" in Seoul

Since Nathan and I left our home in Seoul to visit our friends in Tokyo over Christmas & New Years, we decided to have an early Christmas celebration before taking off. We were blessed to receive packages from both sides of our families filled with wonderful gifts from our motherland. We had a great "Christmas" morning on the 17th celebrating with biscotti, crepes, coffee, stockings, gifts, music, etc. We had all but the 2nd most important ingredient to an exceptional Christmas... family. We still tried to make our apt. as Christmassy as we could with limited resources.

After opening gifts, eating crepes, and drinking coffee, we took a much needed Christmas nap. We then took off and hiked up to Seoul Tower to "lock our love". Cheesey... yes. But we couldn't leave Seoul without leaving our lock of love locked tightly at the top of Namsan Mt. (We both kept a key for safe keeping ;)) Later we headed to Itaewon to a yummy French restaurant for some soup and mussels.

We did our best to set aside a special day to celebrate the reason for the season. While we wish we could have been home for the holidays, we are so blessed to have love from the Father,  from each other, and our families.
