Sangmyeong Summer Camp 2011

Summer camp has begun! The next three weeks at Sangmyeong are incredible. We teach the same group of students (only 11 students for Chelsea and 15 for Nathan) for 4 hours each day. This is different from the normal schedule where we cycle teaching 136 kids 3 times per week for up to 6 hours and spending 2 to 4 hours lesson planning/prepping each day.

Needless to say, this first week of camp has whizzed right by. Not only is it half-days for the kids, but for us as well. Our new groups of kids are great. We're both teaching two different 3rd grade groups and having a blast with them so far. Here's a few shots I snapped today of them working on some of their activities...

Animals on the loose.

Drawing sharks to put on our team flag.

More sharks!
