Superwoman for a Sister

Although I haven't given you all anything to go off of in our time here in Korea, I must draw your attention elsewhere. A new baby was welcomed into the world this week and it mustn't go without mention.

My sister, Casey (aka Superwoman), delivered on Sept.26th at 4:20pm to a beautiful little girl who was then named Naomi Constance Stroh. I'm saddened to not be there holding Naomi and giving my sister the biggest hug of all and telling her how proud I am of her and reminding her of her blessing in being an insanely incredibly mother, but nevertheless my love is sent far from Korea back to Kirkland, WA where my heart currently wants to be.

This is her, superwoman herself.

Meet Supergirl, Naomi Constance Stroh.

This is them together.

Nothing beats having a sister. Especially when she's Superwoman :)

Semester Two Continues

I promise we're still alive. We're into the second semester now and I've seriously been slacking on updating the blog. Our apologies! I'm TERRIBLE with a camera, thus I never have any new ones to put on the blog and who wants to just READ... you want pictures, I know. Well, you'll have to wait a little longer.

Since Malaysia we've certainly kept busy. We started back up teaching on Sept.1 and have actually been enjoying the weather here! The semester has started off much more smoothly than last and we've felt much more prepared, which has made it a nice transition from our vacation. Fact is, we love our jobs! I've told Nathan a few times now that sometimes I would rather be at work than finding something to do at home. I'm really praying for doors to open and to continue doing this back home in the future.

In the last few weeks we've had some highlights. We've gone on a semi-failed camping trip (thanks to the rain), but it was still a great 1.5 days in the "forests" of Korea with friends. We recently hit up the Seoul zoo, which was well worth it, but HUGE. To properly view all these animals it would take DAYS! The meerkats were a definite favorite. We now have a new friend from Trinity teaching out here now and just so happened to be placed 10 minutes from where we live! We've enjoyed spending time with friends and being able to explore our town a bit more because of this incredible weather. Starting next week, we drop into the 70's, then I have a feeling it'll go downhill fast from there. We'll savor it while we can!

More posts will come shortly! These next 5 months will fly right by. Here's a HUGE shout out to my dear friend Leigh Boyle who is coming to visit us for 10 days at the end of November as she travels back home after living in Ethiopia for a year!!! That can't come soon enough.

Overall, we are enjoying our time in Korea much more as of late and feeling entirely blessed. We still can't wait to come home, but we feel much more at ease here and enjoying this opportunity much more.

A second shout out to my sister Casey! She's having her little girl in the next week or two and we can't wait to meet her over skype! We're ready for you little Naomi! You better be ready to be dressed in a pink tu-tu at all times!

Autumn is almost here. Enjoy!
